Israel’s Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy, and Water Resources has announced a major grant which will allow the implementation of Project Wadi Attir’s innovative renewable energy system developed by AugWind for the project site.
Or Yogev, AugWind Founder, issued the following statement:
“AugWind is excited to work with The Sustainability Laboratory and Amutat Wadi Attir in fulfilling their mission to create a self-sustaining farm which is completely energy independent. We are planning to erect a state-of-the-art renewable-based power plant which utilizes both wind and solar energy resources through a novel energy storage technology. The plant will provide for all the energy needs (both power and heat) of the farm, waving the need to connect to the power grid.”

We are currently finalizing the permit processes and expect that the system will be operational within two years.
