Turning off the highway and pulling up to Project Wadi Attir, one arrives at a desert oasis, teeming with life. The path to the Visitor’s Center is surrounded by trees and flowering plants, with bees buzzing from one flower to the next. Droves of students investigate key topics in sustainability and agriculture at the project’s recently launched agricultural school. A thriving herd of animals goes out to the pasture daily for grazing. And visitors from all over the world learn about the project from our experienced guides, while taking in the sites of the vast landscape under newly-installed, shaded canopies. Project Wadi Attir is continually growing and expanding, thanks to the great commitment and dedication of the project staff. Read on for the latest from Project Wadi Attir in our November newsletter!
