With support from the Social Venture Fund for Jewish-Arab Equality and Shared Society, Project Wadi Attir has now launched our Student Research Program. Two high schools have already begun the program: Alahd High School from Hura, and Dar Alklm High School from Rahat.
Both schools have begun conducting experiments for their biology studies. These research projects are part of students’ graduation requirements, as dictated by the Ministry of Education. We are proud to provide appropriate guidance and facilities for these high schools to be able to fulfill this requirement with us on the Project Wadi Attir site.
Student research projects focus broadly on bees, plant life, biodiversity and land restoration. Students chose their individual research topics after taking a tour of the site and noting what interested them.
