Safiya Morgan, Director of the Indigenous Vegetable Initiative, held her first intensive workshop for local women on the project site, on the topic of “Quality of Life and Local Food Culture.”
The women learned techniques for dairy production, and were introduced to the project’s herding and medicinal plants functions. They also received instruction and lectures on home gardening and healthy nutrition.
